THE WHITE ORCHID: FRAGILE IMMORTALITY
Yulia Yurchevskaya & Yulia Pazukhina
A visual exploration of absolute purity, vulnerability, and the hidden movements of the soul. In this series, the authors shift away from dark Gothic drama toward an ethereal, almost weightless impressionism. The white orchid and the finest veil become a metaphor for the protective layers of the human psyche. Rainbow flares and soft-focus elements create the effect of looking through a prism, dissolving reality into an elusive, luminous dream.
“In 'The White Orchid' collaboration, Yulia Pazukhina and I explore the anatomy of silence. This project is a visual meditation on the moments when the outer world fades away, leaving us alone with our inner light. The orchid acts not merely as a decorative element, but as a symbol of fragile yet unyielding vitality. The textures of sheer fabric and rainbow light refractions function as filters of perception: we observe ourselves through a prism of gentleness and self-acceptance. It is a manifesto on the power of being vulnerable, the purity of primal energy, and the fact that the loudest truths are often born in absolute stillness.”
