THE SILENT DOUBLE    

Concept: 

An exploration of self-identification and internal dialogue. The white mannequin in the forest represents a blank canvas, a projection of the “ideal self, ” or a silent witness to our transformations. The contrast between the rigid geometry of the suits and the chaotic beauty of the pine forest highlights the conflict between a person’s social role and their innate, natural essence.  

“In 'The Silent Double' collaboration, Yulia Pazukhina and I brought the aesthetics of high fashion into the realm of the wild. This is a visual experiment about finding one’s own reflection. Are we the living breath of the forest or a flawless form frozen in white fabric? The mannequin serves as an emotionless alter-ego, allowing the viewer to see themselves within it. It is a story of solitude, perfection, and a return to origins.”
