 The Threshold of Many Faces

Eyes that watch you from the past, the present, and the split second that never existed. A stutter in the rhythm of breath. When the physical body moves too fast for the mind to follow, a glitch is born.

We leave our shadows in the air. Look closely. This is not a double exposure; this is the “delayed body.” The exact second the mind trips over its own reflection. One face asks a question, another already holds the answer, while a third simply watches from the dark, hiding behind the petals of dead flowers.

These peonies carry no scent. They emit a sound. Quietly, like white noise on an empty radio station. They bloom right through the ribcage, intertwining with the hypnotic rhythm of the polka-dot fabric. This pattern is like Morse code, a digital cipher desperately trying to hold a fragmenting persona together.

Hands in white gloves (or is it merely light carving skin out of the void?) reach upward. They press against the invisible glass of the screen. An attempt to defend? Or an urge to break out? The gaze is direct, intimate, slicing through the noir. It says: “I am here. But which one of me is real?”

In this Sanctuary, time is not linear. It layers upon itself. We are made of glitches, of improperly saved memory files, of the ghosts of ourselves. And within this multi-layered silence, true beauty is born.
