A High Fashion editorial at the intersection of retro-futurism and conceptual minimalism. The series explores the phenomenon of “outer armor” in the modern fashion industry. Through the total dominance of silver textures—a metallic dress, oversized futuristic glasses, heavy chains, and silver shoes—the authors construct an image of an unattainable, radiant heroine. The monochrome aesthetic, emphasized by the stark contrast of black stockings and deep studio shadows, transforms glossy sheen into a manifesto of power, independence, and futuristic elegance.
“In the 'Chrome' collaboration, Yulia Pazukhina and I explore silver not as a festive decoration, but as the visual armor of a new era. This fashion editorial is a manifesto of inner autonomy and futuristic aesthetics. Our heroine is draped in liquid metal: oversized chrome eyewear, the heavy gloss of jewelry, and a mirror-like dress shield her from the outside world, molding her into a futuristic diva. The clash of shimmering silver with the sharp graphics of black elements and deep studio shadows creates an atmosphere of sleek neo-noir. It is a story about a woman who dictates her own rules, reflecting the world off her metallic armor.”
